Pears
Montreal really has no decent goalie prospect other than Tokarski and Peter Budaj isn't the best back up for Carey Price, so my question is, what would it take for the Canadiens to get Jonathan Bernier out of LA? Legend Killer
Jonathan Bernier is ready to be a starter. Budaj is good enough for a back up.
Kazmanian Devil
Why would they give up a package of high-value for Bernier to be a backup when they have Price and can just draft a solid goalie prospect? Is Price injured or something? I can't keep up with the ridiculous amount of injured players.
canucklax
Carey Price is 25, why would they need a young goalie to come in?
The Magician
For Bernier it would be Prust and a 1st
Garrison
Why would they want him?

canucklax
Stability in goal, good back up that will be a starter in a year or two, can come in and win games if Price goes down/gets in a slump etc. IMO I think Bernier would be a perfect fit in Montreal. qwijibo
Price is signed for another 5 years. They really don't need a guy like Bernier who's on the cusp of being a starter. They just need a guy like Budaj (and Auld before him) who can step in and play 10-15 games a year.
