WAIVERS: The Detroit Red Wings have claimed Alex Stalock off waivers from the Edmonton Oilers.

(As DET currently has no active roster spot for Stalock, he will be automatically placed on waivers at 9:30am Oct.21st if a roster spot is not cleared for him by then, or if DET places Stalock on waivers before then)

A reminder, as I wasn't here for an official waivers post. Alex Stalock is on waivers until 9:30am tomorrow morning.

Scott Kosmachuk trade looking silly for me now as he is named top OHL player of the week and has 12 goals in 12 games and a bushel of assists. I wonder if he is still in Vancouver's system? Anyhow, still happy with Salo and Murphy, which was my return on the deal, but Kosmachuk's stock is rising on offense every day.

The Blues wants to Welcome Back Rostislav Olesz to the Organisation.

He was part of the Team in 2011/12 but he had some issues at the beginning of the Season and then he was out for a long time with a injury.

Now it seems that he might turn things to the right direction.

Well a risky move but we have nothing to lose at the moment.

A full Roster Update will follow tomorrow.

sounds good

Bournival has been told that he'll be with the Canadiens for the rest of the season, Hockey Inside Out reports. "We told to Michael Bournival this morning that he can start looking for an apartment," coach Michel Therrien told reporters.

Analysis: Bournival, who has points in each of the last two games, skated on the second line at Monday's practice, playing on the left wing with Tomas Plekanec and Brian Gionta. The kid's stock is rising and he now has himself some legit top-six forwards to skate with.
