With 1000+ NHL games played under his belt, we have full confidence that he will bring a dynamic veteranship to try and create a spark for our team to help with our slow start of the season. I felt so ready coming into this year before the reduced salary cap set me back a little. Now injuries have slowed me down even further and my back-up (Labarbera) has just lost his position on the Oilers with the addition of Bryzgalov. Ugh... I have an old Future Consideration concerning him: if he does not play at least 65 games this year in the NHL I get Nashville's third round pick in the coming draft. He has 6 games now and i presume has been sent to the AHL. Florida has 65 games remaining, so in 7 games, more or less, I get nashvilles third. : ) With Nick Palmieri playing over in Bombastic's back yard in the DEL, I should have Vancouvers third as well from FC's.
