The San Jose Sharks would like to extend a sincere welcome to our two new core players.

We see immense potential in TJ Brodie, and it was especially hard to watch him go, but wish him, and the other players the best of luck in the future.

And Tyson Barrie salvages the night!! An assist late to tie the game and then he gets the overtime winner!!

Can't believe the Sens blew that game.. they hit 5 posts in the third to make it a two goal game and then COL ties it up late and wins in OT.. sigh.

BOS 2014 3rd Round Draft Selection

The Philadelphia Flyers wish to thank Cam, Adam, Braydon, Mikkel and Jeff for their excellent contributions to the team's performance this season. We wish them the very best of luck with their new teams and hope that they can experience the success they deserve. It was with a heavy heart that we pulled the trigger on these trades but the desire to restructure our franchise for future success was too strong to resist.

We are delighted to announce the acquisition of several new members of the Flyers franchise:

Tuomo Ruutu is a hard hitting, exciting winger that we believe can excel in our top 9. Tuomo was named in the Finland Olympic team for the Sochi Games, and we know that he will represent himself and his country with passion and energy. It is that passion for the game that we are excited to see on our team.

TJ Brodie is a very talented young D man that we were very keen on acquiring. We feel that he is an integral part of our franchise's long-term aspirations of Stanley Cup glory, and are proud that we are able to call upon his services.

Travis Moen is a player I have previously worked with, back when I was Carolina GM. His feisty approach to the game will solidify our third line and bring some bite to our line-up.

Martin Erat is an experienced winger that we anticipate will have a huge role to play in our efforts to climb the standings this season. We have promised Martin that we will play his favourite song in the dressing room when he scores his first goal of the season.

Nick Holden is a solid presence on D, and one on which we will depend on for consistent performance. We are very pleased to welcome him to our very talented blueline.

Matt Konan will report to the Philadelphia Phantoms, and we look forward to seeing his progression over the coming months.

BOS 2014 3rd Round Draft Selection

Blues Statement

At first we wants to thank Martin Erat , Nick Holden and Matt Konan for their hard Work for the Blues Organisation

during the past Weeks, Month or Years and wants to Welcome Cam Atkinson and Adam Pardy.

Martin was a Blue since Summer 2011 and he was allways one of our better Guys.

This Season worked not really well for him so we were looking for a younger Player.

Cam Atkinson seems a young Guy with some Potential who could help us out in the next Years.

11 Goals and 21 Points in 43 Games this Season are no Superstar Stats but something to work

with for the Future. We guess that Cam has not reached his full Potential yet.

Adam Pardy is a Solid depth Defender who´ll replace Nick Holden on the Roster.

Nick was claimed of the Waivers in November and added some important Points during his time here but

without him, we probably wouldnt have come to an Agreement with the Flyers Organisation.

Pardy had 3 Points in 24 Games and he brings some toughness to the Blueline.

Matt Konan was the 3rd Blues Guy involved in this Deal.

With the signings of Ben Chiarot , Chad Billins and the upcoming signing of Brady Skjei next Summer, it was necessary to move him. Joey Laleggia is also probably coming closer to the Big League and the Organisation plans to re-sign RFA´s Eric Gelinas , Eric Gryba

and Mark Borowiecki. So a full roster of Guys who´ll probably knocking on the Door to the NHL or are allready proven NHL Players.

Matt will get a new Chance in Philly now and we wish him success for the Future.

Remember 3 weeks ago, when Philly had 13-14 active NHL players and only 4 defencemen?

Great job so far Azzy!

Thank you sir. We're looking forward to the return of Shawn Thornton as well, although the injury to Mikko Koivu has scuppered our plans somewhat.

And I wouldn't have been able to achieve this without the agreeable nature of several GMs - they've all done their part too. Now it's time to sit back and see how this team can kick on!
