From drafting 2nd overall last year to a playoff spot this season is a remarkable achievement, especially outpacing teams like Pittsburgh and the Islanders down the stretch in order to secure that playoff spot. Not only that, how many teams could go a toe to toe with a team as deep as Florida and put a scare into him early? If there was a GM of the Year award, you'd get my vote. Great job this year!
