Anyone who doesn't see lu's declining abilities are blind. the difference between a buyout now or later is we could remove his contract, emotional baggage, and cap hit permenantly. The Canucks hired Tortorella as well so the team is turning into the mafia. Second the owner not Gillis went to Florida to beg Luongo to comeback and play for the Canucks. That should be the GM's job since he caused this mess to begin with. If you have to tell other people that you are funny than you probably aren't especially when making dumba$$ remarks. In order to be a smarta$$ you need intelligence which you may think you have but in reality thats another story. If you like Gillis that is fine please state your case otherwise save your Don Draper wannabe cleverness for the pros. I think anyone from the Detroit organization would be a good replacement for Gillis someone like Jim Nill too bad Dallas picked him up. Let people say whatever they want no matter how infantile, if they have nothing to contribute thats fine. just don't allow yourself to get hooked and let these people bait you to go to their level.
