DrChill
Only way we bring in another goalie is if we trade Markstrom.
MadOgre
It would be nice to see Markstrom play 60 minutes for Vancouver first.
2009cupchamps
I don't think you know Corrado's ceiling, and the Canucks don't need a #1 goalie. Canucks do need a number one goalie, hopefully one of our swede tenders turn out to be the number one. If anyone here is thinking that Reimer is a number one, god help us. 5Fivehole0
You wouldn't give up a 5-6 ceiling d-man for a potential #1 goalie? My point exactlyAre you serious? Lack is playing very well considering how many times our defense fails. Also your comparing Luongo's CAREER to Lack's first year as starter with a team that has been playing incredibly bad this year. Frankly a 3.3 GAA and .876 sv% isn't bad all things considering. Our first priority should be developing prospects and improving offense, not trading our up and coming goalies. Reimer is good but he's not enough of an upgrade over our current goalies. Why trade Corrado? He's a part of our future and potentially a top 4 Dman. Keep him unless some team is stupid enough to make a trade where we'd win by a landslide. Note: My opinion does not factor in potential derps Gillis might do.It's not a starting goalies #'s
hockeyguy1234
I'd be happy to get a 2nd to replace the one we moved in the Holland trade for Reimer.Forget that. Reimer is a good goalie and is equal to Lack in terms of trade value. If TO was smart, they'd either resign him or trade him to Edmonton for Schultz and a 2nd. hockeyguy1234
For those of you downplaying Reimer (he really is a good goalie), him and Luo both have a playoff similarity in common.................they're both responsible for getting their teams to Game 7 of the playoffs against Boston and they're both responsible for their teams losing to Boston in game 7 of the playoffs. Yeah you're right reimer giving up a 4 goal lead in the 3rd of round 1 is exactly the same as losing but getting zero offense in game 7 of the cup final.
