Canorcas Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 Absolutely no truth in suggestions that the Canucks will move their AHL affiliate to Abbotsford. The best thing to do would be to welcome a WHL/BCHL team into the arena and get those deficits back into profitable margins. And if an AHL future exists, they would either share the rink or take over the lease. Only shortsighted Canucks fans would actually want their AHL team here. In terms of "paying your dues" in the minor league, there would be no shortage of focus and attention on the youngsters that it would actually be detrimental to their development.
