I come across lanyards all the time when I'm at stores like Jersey City, Lids, Sportchek, etc. Vancity Sports downtown has hundreds of them. Even the dollar stores carry red and white lanyards with the Canada flag. It's a $6 piece of thin rope basically, I don't know how you're not finding any.
