D-Money Posted July 2, 2015 Share Posted July 2, 2015 Win- Win- Win trade Hawks got the cup Arizona got Vermette back plus a 2015 1st and Vermette got a cup However, rumor is that the Coyotes offered more ($$$ and term) to extend him prior to the trade, but he thought he was worth over 5 on the open market. But his struggles in Chicago really brought his value down. As much as the cup win was great for him, he's probably kicking himself for turning down their last offer.
