Definitely worth significantly less than like 2/3 years ago. Well he's obviously no plug, but on the opposite end of spring chicken as well. With Jumbo you know you get at least 60 points and veteran leadership (of the stripped captaincy type) value wise. That's worth something. For a comparable situation maybe the Iginla trade to the Pens a few years ago where a 35/36 year old Iginla was moved for 2 unsigned Who's and a 1st. Now add Joe being in control, and obviously wanting to go to a contender (if anywhere), to the fact that this is the start of the season and not the deadline (cap difficulties) and he could be tough to move.
