The worst thing that can happen to a team is to do a half assed rebuild, so I encourage other fans to support what management is trying to do here instead of putting their feet to the fire. I'm an avid Canucks fan and have been since I watched my first hockey game in 94 & I'll stay a Canucks fan. There's been a lot of highs & lows with this franchise, but to be honest there has been limited groups of young players to get excited for at times & I wanted to point out that this may be the best core group of young players that we have had at one time. MayRayDown
Why include Olsen and not Brisebois or Tryamkin? I think those 2 will have a bigger impact

Good post, the negativity has been nauseating lately, especially after the Granlund trade. He had a great game tonight, except face offs but I have faith that this will change. I'm also pretty stoked about Pedan. Really looking forward to draft day as well. I think there is a lot to be excited about.

I think there is a lot to be excited about. We also have another decent group of players that are 26/27 that will be still in their early 30's when our prospects develop: Bartowski - 27 - 6'1, 196. Solid defensive d-man with offensive upside Weber - 27 - 5'11, 201. Scored 11 goals last year for us, a offensive D-Man but took a step back this year Sbisa - 26 - 6'2, 196. A decent sized 2-way D-Man with lots of potential, but still needs a bit of refinement Biega - 27 - 5'10, 187. He's a bit small for a physical D-Man, but he's growing on me and shows why he was the captain of Utica Tanev - 27 - 6'2, 185. He's never been a minus player, blocks shots and 38 pims in over 280gp Markstrom - 26 - 6'6, 196 - He's dominated at every level & he's going to be a superstar goalie for us Sutter - 27 - 6'3, 190 - He's a big strong, two way center who can skate & win face-offs *Kenins - 24 - 6'1, 201 - He's kind of in the shadow of some of our rising talent, but he's a great depth player
cripplereh
yes but next year many of them will not be a canuck . That is why Benning is trying to get what he can now cause come start of next season we will see 4 to 6 new players in our lineup!

That being said, I don't think we to get too many more physical players, guys that play hard both ways & make a team skate are really hard to play against too.
