Johnny Shotgun
Although not yet officially president his nominee for secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, has stated China should have no access to 7 artificially built islands in the South China Sea. These islands were built to project sovereignty in to that oil rich region. Other nations are claiming rights as well to their share of the potential resources. The islands have runways built to handle military air traffic and anti-aircraft defenses. Sounds like a static aircraft carrier to me. China is cool on their response so far waiting for Trump to actually assume office and show his hand, as well their head honcho is up for some sort of review according to their system. So what we have are 2 powerful leaders about to face off in the coming months over oil, each not wanting to look weak. Could be interesting.
