He got the team bigger quickly. He made many trades They became one of, if not the biggest team in the league. He let the coach try for 2 1/2 seasons and fired him. By 1991, within three years the team went from the bottom of the league to near the top. Ahhh, the old days and the speed teams were rebuilt. When there was no free agency to sign NHL players.
