I'm not big on serial style movies, that start out of sequence. Simply can not see the point of watching the newish "Han Solo" why waste time when you know he and Chewie live through every thing that happens? Same thing when they film and release the middle episodes before the beginning. Complete lack of suspense. Link to comment

I get you, but when the first movie came out back in the 70s, I saw it three times in the theatres and several more times when it was featured when movie channels first started. By the time, the original trilogy finished, I was already getting too old for it and was definitely too old for the prequels when they came out. But still, I think for a lot of people from my generation, the first movie was a very memorable (and easily quotable) cultural event from our childhoods 1 Link to comment
