Burrows situation and Kesler's situation are much different then OEL and I do not understand why so many people do not understand this. I'm just saying what's been reported. Players do change their mind on such things. But the Kesler situation should tell you a pile of crap won't be in the trade. He gave two teams and one immediately had no interest. Leaving Benning with one team to deal with. Did he get a pile of crap with cap dumps? Are the Bruins offering crap with cap dumps? Not according to what's been reported. You're suggesting only one thing Arizona would have interest in - Juolevi. You're sending more salary than they're getting rid of. How does that make sense for them? They'd be better off not moving OEL and moving a couple of easier mid/high money contracts and getting a realistic return.

I am saying the deal I came up with is what I believe gets it done for Vancouver and Arizona is just trying unload salary and is not seeing this as a hockey trade but just a way to get $50+ million off their books for the next 7 years because they can’t have fans and their owners are in the casino business which has been hit hard and have no other sources of income coming in to pay the Coyotes operating costs and are just waiting til the last minute to see if Benning cracks and tries to add to the deal but in my mind I am pretty sure what is holding everything up is one of two things 1) Arizona will not take any bad contracts back even LE with only $5 million left of $12 million cap hit over 2 years or 2) Whatever Canuck that is being traded that has a bad contract (LE or Sutter) has not waived their NTC yet. But this is just my guess.

But time wasted on it sent our UFAs to free agency and we didn't dump even one of our anchor contracts, or amazingly, even buy one of them out.
