don't know if that's enough to get Mayfield & Johnston but they add size both at 6'5, we get right handed d-man & Johnston replaces Rousell.

 

but a 4th line of Johnston/Beagle/MacEwen would not be to bad. 

 

that would leave us around 14 mli in cap space enough to re-sign Gaudette & sign a D-man.

Our depth on RW heading into next season would be way too weak.  Boeser, Leivo, MacEwen, and Lind is........:-/

 

With Toffoli unlikely to come back, the Canucks will have to hold onto both Boeser and Virtanen.

NJD are looking to improve their roster and don't look to be into taking cap dumps.  Fitzgerald seems to be taking advantage of teams who are cap strapped to improve their roster.  Detroit on the other hand is willing to take cap dumps for futures - they are looking for draft picks and prospects.

 

NYI has no cap space either.  They have enough bottom of the lineup players and are looking to dump cap while you are sending more cap over.  They are giving up 2 cheaper players and creating a hole in their lineup.  NYI are not rebuilding.
