Chris12345
I would like to point out that these trades would be an administrative nightmare. It took Jimmy 1 year to work through the OEL deal.

Eichel. Boeser. Miller. Horvat. Garland. Pearson. Dickinson. Podkolzin. Motte. Sutter. Highmore. OEL. Smith. Demko. Bahl. Seider. Halak Hunt. Hamonic. Scratches: Schen, Keeper, MacEwen Raymond starts in Abbotsford and could get called if an injury in the top 6 as he is suppose to be an absolute sniper that could replace Boeser. Let's hear everyone pick this a part So we trade 7 players and 2 1st round picks (Pettersson, Hughes, Hoglander, Rathbone, Juolevi, Myers, Poolman + two 1st's). We get 5 players and no picks (Eichel, Smith, Seider, Holtz, Bahl). Cutting through all the details...the two main pieces in this proposal are Pettersson for Eichel. I think Pettersson is projecting to be as good a player as Eichel. Eichel's first two seasons 56pts, 57pts. EP's first two seasons 66pts, 66pts. Both had an injury affected last season. Eichel 21 gp, 18 pts. Pettersson 26 gp, 21 pts. Sounds like Petey's injury has healed and he is ready to go. Whereas Eichel still has a neck injury that may affect his entire career. Petey is a couple years younger than Eichel and he will likely be on a more team friendly contract. So I wouldn't even do Petey for Eichel straight up. So Pettersson > Eichel Hughes >>> Smith Rathbone + Juolevi + 1st > Seider (has not played an NHL game yet) Hoglander > Holtz (has not played an NHL game yet) Myers + Poolman + 1st > Bahl Looks like we lose every part of this trade.

That’s the equivalent to us basically trading Juolevi, Miller, Zlodeyev, and a 1st for Eichel… your proposal is overpayment, video game fantasy land.
