That said, his contract was done on the assumption that the cap would keep going up and that the spend to value ratio would fall further into line as the contract ran. Unfortunately, Covid wiped out league forward motion and so his hit now looks worse than it really should. I like Myers, but agree that we probably need to move him to free up some cap space.
