    Hard to imagine someone not cheering for the Chicago Cubs. I'm not because they are the only NA sports franchise that is 100% without a doubt more cursed than us.

      Without looking at any stats at all, I'd guess that 2-2-1-1-1 affords a much greater chance of a series being won at home by either team. Heart-warming stories aside, as a sports fan I find nothing more dull than the visiting team winning it all in a silent stadium. 

       

      I don't actually mind the All Star Game counting for something, at least it gives fans of playoff teams a reason to tune in to something besides the Home Run Derby.
