MoneypuckOverlord
Kassian should spend some time in the AHL first.
Dr. J.
Next season Kassian will be more NHL ready than Jensen for that top 6 spot. Jensen needs time to develop, he's still a boy playing trying to play in a man's league.
Caledonian Canuck
If Jensen does well pre-season and lights it up for the first nine games, then he should stay in Vancouver. If you are good enough, you are old enough. If he then begins to wilt, he can go back down. The experience of being in Vancouver for training camp and playing in pre -season games will help his development. If he is ready for the NHL, play him. If not, send him down to develop further in the minors. From the little I have seen of him and read about him, he will be an important part of this team - maybe not next season, but certainly at some point in the near future. enterin
Of course we would probrably send nugent hopkins back to juniors because we are already stacked as a championship calibre team. The Oilers on the other hand..........

Sanj
Ya I agree....I think Gillis was saying he was like a ppg (too lazy to look up stats) in the AHL
Baggins
Jensen just suffered a concussion at the A level. This kid is not developed physically.
Jester13
I could see the Canucks calling up Jensen if there was an injury to a top six guy. I'm really excited to see what this guy can do when he makes the NHL.

Caledonian Canuck
If he exceeds 9 nhl games he can't be sent down. It's the Canucks for the full season or juniors for the full season. Which is why he needs to be lights out good to win a spot. The safest bet is another year in juniors.
elvis15
wow, what a rant, the comment on rnh was nothing more than a generalization on canucks management reluctance to play younger players, put your pom-poms aside and chill...whew!
