On his team sheet in Wallace's notes it says "**CLAIMED**" When a player is placed on waivers I put his name and the time he was waived under the WAIVERS section on the team charts. He remains on a teams roster while on waivers, unless he is claimed. Once a player is claimed, I remove the player from the active roster, put his contract info in his waivers tag and mark him as claimed.
