yes, and a different 2nd line center.

I don't think that is necessary. We're trying to improve this team, not blow it up.

Why did he lose the trade?

Gillis didn't qualify Gragnani to save face - he qualified Gragnani because at 577.5k he is a good prospect and depth defenseman to have developing in the system, with a hell of a lot of potential- same reason he gave up the guy that was between 9th and 11th on the Canucks depth chart to acquire him.

Yes, because MAG is the tipping point.
After a few days here, I am surprised half of you got the anti-bot question correct to register for this site.

I think something has to happen regarding Schneider before July 1st. Sign him or trade him... I don't think MG is going to allow other teams to dictate what happens with offer sheets.

Gragnani is a prospect and that is where it ends.

The guy has shown the defensive capabilities of Alex Mogilny.

We should groom one of our bottom D men to play a hitting 4th line checker....would be an ideal in-game insurance for defense injuries..especially since the bottom of our roster will probably get little help this draft.

As I said in the Jensen thread:

"Speedy, gritty and skilled, it's the deadly Danish duo of Honey Badger and the Dane Train"

I seriously LOVE "the Dane train" as a nickname.

Both goalies stole games idiot. You forgot Schneider played a bunch of games in a row when Lu was struggling? Did you check how many games Schneider played this year? Or did you thing AV went with Schneider just based on a handful of games he played last year?

You're absolutely right...I overlooked Schneider's play and contribution to the team's place in the standings in my last post. He stole some games for us as well (maybe even as many as Luongo relative to the starts he received).

The general consensus among the board members is that the team plays better in front of Schneider, so I would suggest that some of the wins Schneider posted were the result of better team efforts. This, along with a number of other reasons (younger, arguably more athletic, on upswing of career, better mental make-up, more technically sound, etc., etc.) are reasons why I'm in the camp of retaining Schneider over Luongo for 2012-2013 and beyond.

Your hostility and name-calling (and apparent lack of command of the English language, most likely brought on by your rage), though, demonstrates a whole lot of arrested emotional and cognitive development...so I'm sure the folks here on the forum will give you a free pass for being an emotional and mental midget. I heard Prozac helps with what ails you...you should get 'scripted up.
