Israeli tourist bus bombed in Bulgaria

The title of the book is supposedly a translation of part of Proverbs 24:6, which Ostrovsky alleges is the former motto of the Mossad: be-tahbūlōt ta`aseh lekhā milkhamāh (Hebrew: בתחבולות תעשה לך מלחמה. Ostrovsky claims this translates, "By Way Of Deception, Thou Shalt Do War." The Hebrew word בתחבולות translates into English as, "Ploys, Tricks, Trickery, Subterfuges, or Stratagems" (Source: Google Translate) Alternatively, translations of בתחבולות into English in Proverbs 24:6 in Christian Bibles substitute a different meaning from the original Hewbrew. For example, the King James translation of Proverbs 24:6 is "For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war"...

Wikipedia and Google translator are your sources?

Just to play this semantics game for a sec - you do know what the definition of 'stratagems' is, do you not?

stratagems plural of strat·a·gem (Noun)

  1. A plan or scheme, esp. one used to outwit an opponent or achieve an end

  2. Skill in devising such plans or schemes; cunning.

I find it most interesting that one conveniently dismisses the one word in that list of alleged definitions that doesn't serve the purpose of those who choose to repeatedly misquote the correct translation of Mossad's old motto.

I stand by my original post on this translation issue, thanks.

What kind of person are you? The type that instead of giving the explanation that you've finally yielded here. In your original post, with a link to all that text. Instead of shoving it in our faces taking up nearly a full page. With the intent of making the viewing of posts more difficult. You don't seem like a complete imbecile, so I can only ascertain it was intentional. And my point was that, isn't the manner in which you posted, the same kind of misleading and scheming that people acuse Israelis of.

1) Israel would have the exact same problem striking Iran. I doubt Syria or Jordan are going to be happy sharing airspace with Israel.

2) If Iran is being pounded by Israel, I seriously doubt their number 1 concern is going to be respecting the airspace of countries that are allowing Israel to bomb them. Iran also doesn't need to send planes. They have missiles which can reach Israel. Not to mention they already have Hezbollah armed to the teeth next door.

Ed what am i supposed to be yielding to ? your superior intellect ? i think not .

Sometimes shoving the facts in people's faces seems to be the only way they acknowledge their existence, and while i have learned a lot about how to use my computer i am still a relative novice and have not managed to learn to format things the way i would like to .

i wanted them to appear as a list but i was running late for work and did not have time to ask my girl how to change it .

Ed i want to assure you that i am not a complete imbecile , i am not even partly one so your comparing me to the israeli government leads me to believe that it is your ability to ratiocinate that is being called into question here

This is probably one reason why Israel is trying to get Americas support.

In the event the American navy decides to control the waters off the coast of Iran, Iran cannot hope to put up much of a fight to protect them. Israel doesnt have to worry about invading anyones air space this way.

In the event there is an exchange involving ballistic missiles, Israels arsenal is vastly superior, and they also boast top notch anti-air defenses.

Were talking about Israel here, who out of necessity need to have defenses that are far superior to any other country in the middle east.

Iran has no anti-air defenses.

As for Hezbollah, thats not even a real army. The Israeli infantry... you guessed it. Pretty much the best training in the world.

However, I will say this... attacking Iran by air or by land truly seems very foolish because the mountainous terrain serves as a very effective defense against either.

Honestly, I dont really know why Netanyahu wants to go to war with Iran. It would create an incredibly dangerous situation. I have no idea what they would hope to achieve. It reminds me too much of the Iraq war, which... I mean... where did that get us? What good did that do?

Video Footage Of Suspected Israel Bus Suicide Bomber Who Is Caucasian And Had Fake Michigan License

The smoke from the exploded bus carrying Israeli tourists was still billowing and yet Israeli PM Netanyahu had already declared that "Iran is responsible for the terror attack in Bulgaria, we will have a strong response against Iranian terror." Perhaps that statement was a little premature: as footage released by Bulgarian police indicates, the suspected suicide bomber is Caucasian, and was in possession of a Michigan driver's license, supposedly a fake one, but why anyone in Bulgaria would be carrying a fake Michigan ID is just a little confusing.

From Haaretz:

A top Bulgarian official said it was a "mistake" to lay the responsibility of a terror attack on an Israeli tourist bus on any specific countries or organizations, on Thursday, as security camera footage revealed the person authorities suspected of perpetrating the suicide attack.

Earlier Thursday, Israeli and Bulgarian stated that the Wednesday attack on the bus in the coastal city of Burgas, killing seven and wounding dozens, was a suicide bombing.

The Bulgarian police said that footage from airport security cameras captured the suspect roaming the airport for at least one hour, the Bulgarian news agency Novinite reported. According to the report he was a long-haired Caucasian in sportswear.

The body suspected as belonging to the terrorist had a U.S. driver's license issued in Michigan – apparently fake.

Following the attack on Wednesday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Iran is responsible for the terror attack, saying that all the evidence in Israel's possession points to Iran as the responsible party.

"In the past months we saw Iranian attempts to attack Israelis in Thailand, India, Kenya, and Cyprus," Netanyahu said. "Exactly 18 years after the attack on a Jewish community center in Argentina, the Iranian terror continues to hurt innocent people."

"This is an Iranian terror offensive that is spreading throughout the world," he said, warning that Israel will issue a "strong response against Iranian terror."

However, speaking on Thursday, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov said that he thought "it is wrong and a mistake to point fingers at this stage of the investigation at any country or organization."

"We are only in the beginning of the investigation and it is wrong to jump to conclusions," he added, saying that Bulgaria had "excellent cooperation with the Israeli security forces in matters pertaining to the investigation."

And this is the clip that was released showing the alleged bomber:

looks like special ed and his hero netanmurderer have eggs on their face.... its being reported he was an ex. gitmo detainee..

But forget about an investigation, facts, and due process... just randomly pointing fingers, making threats, and wild accusations is all people like SPECIAL-ed need...

Also, netanmurderer promised a "firm response". if an iranian official had promised a "firm response" minutes after a terrorist attack where the smoke hadnt been cleared yet.. CNN and all world media would have made it front page news that iran is threatning israel with terrorism...
