Champions of Nothing
No I wouldn't. Without romo where a 3-13 team. He's our team MVP and best player. He gave us a chane at the playoffs with every starter on defense hurt, a player in Jail, a player dead, no o line, no running game, no home advantage and he got us to 500. Why does everyone hate the cowboys and romo? What did they do? Do they kick players in the groin, torture dogs, rape girls. What did they do? Pretty much same reason everyone hates the Canucks or Leafs. Big market team with a large following around the continent that people love to see fail. Romo (not unlike Luongo) was too highly touted too quickly by his fans, and now every non-fan basks in each and every failure. Over the years, everything has changed except for 2 things. Coaches have changed, receivers have changed, defence has changed, scheme has changed. There are only 2 constants with the Cowboys since 2006. Tony Romo and a lack of significant success. And Jerry jones, I think it's the fact he's not putting enough talent around him, and hes rushing things. You need to have a bit of patience
canuckbeliever
They get attention because people hate them, and your not going to tell me watching Dallas games the past couple seasons havnt been very dramatic and fun to watch. If people started hating Jacksonville they would get more attention nationally. No people hate them because they get too much attention. There is also a generation of fans who grew up watching the Cowboys be the best so they love it now that they suck. Fact of the matter is Cowboys get a lot of attention due to the great years they had 20 years ago. It is really annoying for some. CanucksSayEh
Wouldn't trade a bag o lays potato chips for Rivers. Slowest player in the NFL, no accuracy, weak and awkward arm. Looks like a T-rex playing darts. Turns the ball over like its gonna burn. If Romo went on the block, there would be a LONG list of teams lining up to bid. And it would probably be the best thing for all parties involved. Buffalo NY Jets Miami Cleveland Tennessee Kansas City Arizona All of these teams better be looking to draft a QB this Spring. The ones that can't find their next franchise QB to groom better be giving Mr. Jones a call.
CanucksSayEh
Add Jaxonville, Minnesota and Philly to that potential list. Maybe even Oakland if they ditch Palmer.

Don't know how I missed Jacksonville. I meant to add them. Philly, though they may need a QB, now way in hell could I see them trading for Tony Romo. Won't take long for him to find work, I just hope he finds a good situation and not get stuck in Cleveland or something.

Madness
Really surprised to see Lovie Smith fired. The Bears players are not happy about this from what I've read. He'll be coaching again in no time.
