Tystick
This is scary. Obama is trying so hard to keep this bill in power. http://blog.alexande...itizens-184091/ Idk about you guys, but I want this guy out of office. No one should have the power to keep someone in detention, that's called forced confinement and it's against the law!

Tystick
Except every single authority in the world. The problem here isn't detention, but the lack of a fair trial. We keep citizens locked up in Canada all the time; it's called prison.
hsedin33
If you're going to compare the US government to terrorists then lets do it. How about the government tries to kill as many people as possible. Thats more comparable to terrorists and 9/11. How many people could the US government kill if they wanted to kill as many as possible? Yeah exactly. I really hate when people make stupid exaggerated comparisons like this. Tystick
Among one of the stupidest things the Obama administration has been supportive of. Shameful disgrace of civil rights imo.
Ovech Trick
I am tired of having my friends shot at when they cannot engage because it is a mosque, or school, or there are children in the area. Who are the real cowards hiding behind women and children?
Gurn
That is the most hilarious thing I have heard all day. Thanks for that. You do realize that a flight pattern towards a nuclear facility would be closesly watched and immediately shot down. But your original statment already shows theres no arguement here. Pouria
Terrorists fly planes into buildings because they 'hate freedom'. They kill 3,000 civilians. US Government sends American soldiers out to defend freedom. 132,000 civilians pay the ultimate price, men woman and children. The US government proceeds to try and rob its civilians of its constitutional freedoms. Remind me who the terrorists are again?

Pouria
I like how they go to war to protect their freedom, and in reality they are the least free 1st world country around.

Tystick
Obama supporters, don't you find it strange that the Obama administration is fighting so hard to keep this bill in power? And at the same time, REFUSING to say whether the NDAA is being illegally enforced? This is honestly very scary and I don't want either of those robot tyrants in power. Drybone
I 'd say that SINCE 9/11 air space over and near nuke Reactors is controled and monitored. Before then, not so much. As pointed out by somone else-the terrorists were not trying to kill the most people, thank Allah for that.
TOMapleLaughs
This reminds me of how Al Gore and George Bush were supposed to be the same. People were swayed into that belief so much that that waste of space Ralph Nader cost Gore the presidency. (Certainly RATM's 'Testify' had a bit part in that. They regret that move, even though it was before youtube.) Lesson learned? The two parties and potential presidents are NOT the same. If you're on the fence, go democrat. They aren't the evil empire. The republicans are. (You'd think that we'd know by now.)

TOMapleLaughs
Are you suggesting that the Democrats are worse than the Republicans in this regard? It was the Bush administration that put this forward in the first place. Anyway, Obama has a clear lead now, so get used to more tyranny. Lol. TOMapleLaughs
Why appeal again? I'm not sure, but it might have something to do with wrapping all the loose ends up before another administration steps in. But that's only a guess.
