The Detroit Red Wings are proud to welcome Adam Henrique to the Motor City. He brings great passion to the game and continues to grow as a player. We would like to wish Drew Stafford well in New Jooiiiisy. He certainly was having a good year and helped us get to where we are today. The other pieces in the deal were important as well, both teams walked away happy on this day. The future is bright in Detroit.

The Devils would like to welcome Blake Comeau and Drew Stafford to the organization. We would also like to send much thanks to Adam Henrique, Alex Frolov and Matt Tedenby for their time here. Adam has proven to be an NHL caliber player. He should thrive in Detroit. We feel that we have an excess of centres, and bringing Stafford in will improve the team. Comeau is quite the depth also.

If I can manage to not have 4 people injured at a time next year, I should be a playoff team. My team took a nose dive when Kunitz, Neal, Larsson, Greene and Clarkson kept getting injured.

The Washington Capitals would like to wish Joe Thornton and Teemu Selanne the best of luck with their playoff drives. Joe and Teemu expressed to our club the desire to go join a club that was a serious contender. We felt that Colorado has a great chance to win. We wish them the best of luck.

We'd like to thank Chimera for his numerous years of service to our organization, and we hope he can find success in the post-season with Nashville.

Perreault is a very dynamic young player who we felt with our depth was an injustice to remain on our club. We wish him well in his bigger role in San Jose.

Roman Hamrlik has been a stud for us for many years and we wish him well at one last shot at Lord Stanley, our thoughts are with you.

We'd like to thank Girardi for his 1.5 years with our club. He was an invaluable asset to have in the dressing room and wish him well in Ottawa.

We'd like to welcome Joe Pavelski to our organization, we feel he will fit in well with our club and fill our large hole at RW. We would also like to welcome Simon Despres, we have been watching Simon develop over the past few seasons and we feel he will be an impact player for us in the not to distant future. Finally we'd like to welcome Brad Stuart to our organization, we feel his veteran leadership with the departure of Hamrlik will be big asset moving forward.

Finally we'd like to wish all the playoff bound teams success in the playoffs and may the best team win.
