Alex Burrows 14
Would detroit be interested in luongo if howard faulters this year or next if there is no season? They dont have any outstanding goalie prospects and if howard faulters they dont have anyone else to rely on and with lidstrom and stuart gone there is gunna be a lot of pressure on howard. So luongo and ballard for franzen and smith? Idk so come up with your own ideas.
Xbox
Howards a good goalie..... Plus why help Detroit? They've been good for to long. Let them miss the playoffs for once.

elvis15
/topic/333539-discussion-roberto-luongo-trade-thread-keep-all-discussion-here/">http://forum.canucks...iscussion-here/ There's a 76 page discussion thread you can ask your question in for a reason. Otherwise, people have been making tonnes of proposals already in this forum so not sure we need another thread asking for people to propose more. westcoast
I'm hoping the luongo trade brings back youth because the upcoming prospects arent too strong.
Darth Kane
Yes but if howard faulters then they would need luongo
Lonny_Bohonos_14
That's every Canucks fan's arguement for trading Luongo to a specific team, "if starting goalie X faulters that team will want Luongo". Luongo's not the only option out there.

SukhKular
we could propose a trade to any team in the league when it's clearly not practical.
Darth Kane
Not the only, but he is the best (option that is).
elvis15
Isn't that what most of the proposals are?
Alex Burrows 14
Yes, but so would New York, Nashville, Montreal, etc, etc, etc. What reason do we have to expect that any of those goalies will falter?
elvis15
Because they are proven and have had many good years. Jimmy Howard has had 2 good years and is still young, im just saying he is more likely to falter then lundqvist, price or rinne.
