Mike Vanderhoek
It makes no sense. The Canucks most experienced netminder. The Canucks clutch scorer come Playoff time. The Canucks hardest working and most consistant forward. In exchange for nearly 10 million dollars worth of an underachiever. Don't get me wrong, Ovechkin is skilled, passionate and hardworking. He needs to change up his game and be more versatile, multi fauceted in the offensive zone. Not worth it.

eretz canucks
No Russians and No to moving Burrows. If Gillis moves Burrows (all heart) he should be fired-infact people will run him out of town. Ovi has no heart- and is a total head case.

Pears
Any Luongo deal involving Ovechkin has to include cap swaps. For example; We take $6.5 million of Ovechkin's cap hit while Washington keeps the other $3 mill, we keep $3 million of Luongo's cap hit and Washington takes the other $2.3 mill. My preffered deal would be To Vancouver: Alex Ovechkin, Braden Holtby/Michal Neuvurth To Washington: Roberto Luongo, Chris Higgins, Mason Raymond, 2013 1st, 2014 1st or 2nd

elvis15
No it doesn't make sense for both teams. Where does Ovi fit in our lineup? What if he doesn't produce? Why wouldn't we target someone with less cap hit while keeping our very useful players?
