(REFS WERE FREAKING BUSH LEAGUE AGAIN. The inconsistency is appalling. same old story with the NHL= Bush League. ) Bettman should get 24 hr protection. In rugby the ref will provide a brief prior to the beginning of the game on how they will ref certain areas, it is then down to the teams to ensure that they play within this interpretation. What the Canucks don't do is when the refs swallow their whistle, or conversely penalise everything is adapt to how the refs are making the calls.
