Ok, so my bush is starting to get a little overgrown and I was wondering if anyone here has pruned a bush before. What kind of tools would I need and how would I go about it. I don't want to strip it bare, just trim it down to a manageable level, something my girlfriend would like, she likes gardening and wants it trimmed but she won't do it and I've never done it before and I don't want to screw it up and make it look funny.

Your girlfriends ordering you around and wears the pants in the relationship? Bro let her go. Maybe if you had the pants on, she wouldnt have something to complain about.

Just have another women come over to your house and check out your yard, and show your girlfriend how its done, so next time she'll either know how.

This topic, "Pruning My Bush", would make a great Saturday Night Live skit, no? Along the lines of the "Schwetty Balls" skit?

Depends on how bushy it is. Trim it down with a trimmer or small pair of scissors. Then, use the trimmer to cut down to the desired length. Use a razor to get really creative. Don't rush it.

You're welcome.

First of all don't use scissors. Use a hair or beard trimmer. Then take it slow. No need to rush. But remember once you start doing it, you will need to keep doing it for the rest of your life.

Have you thought about a design? Ladies who work on the garden these days love the thoughtful designs. Designs are in gumball. One time I did one as a pokeball it was hilarious all the ladies loved it.
