It allows you to play the matchup game much more effectively, and also spreads the offense onto 2 seperate lines.
(Kesler centering 1 line, Daniel playing the wing on another)

5 on 5 kesler wasn't effective with his line mates in terms of points at all. So this theory is out the door. Hopefully its bc his foot hurt, but everyone plays with injuries.

I would think it would have been his injury... How many players play with a broken foot? (One that hes still in a cast for)

Losing Daniel would be worse than both.

We have two elite centers, but only 1 elite winger.

Henrik hands down! No disrespect to Kesler who is a very good player, just that the Sedins are really in class above. It amazes me how little respect they get here in Van. We are so lucky as fans to have the brothers on our team

Trick question. Henrik is indestructible, not worried about him.

Who knows, maybe if Henrik did somehow get hurt (Maybe Brad Marchand finds some kryptonite somewhere?) Daniel would step up and have his best season ever, like Henrik did when Daniel was out hurt.

But we'll never know because Henrik never gets hurt.

In terms of importance to this team, it goes: Henrik, Daniel, Kesler.

Losing Kesler is a HUGE blow. But losing Henrik takes from below-average offense to pretty much zero. He is the biggest source of creativity this team has.
What is the deal with Mike Gillis, it always seems like he's sweating...
