thad Posted March 29, 2013 Share Posted March 29, 2013 Bozak has developed nicely with the leafs and we don't need him to be a number 1 (which is likely your concern if i read between the lines here). In Toronto, he is playing with Kessel and was playing with Lupul before Kadri emerged so one could argue it was those two carrying him. That being said, many people said the same about BMO when he was between Bert and Nazzy but he was a terrific 2nd/3rd center in his own right. I think Bozak is a terrific #3, a good fill in #2 and a player that fills the needs we have here. He certainly is not a number one but he doesn't need to be here. Moreoever, if we can find a way to make him feel at home here and re-sign him and get a first I'd take it. Deep draft, two first round picks and a 5 ml off the books. It gives also gives us some flexibility, ie at the draft maybe you approach a team like NYI or Edmonton and offer Ballard and a swap of firsts to move higher. etc etc. Regardless have two firsts in this year's draft would really help this team Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
