Johnny_Drama
Again kypreos said he heard from dallas he wanted closer to 6m from dallas, and the brutal media here in canucks land is now saying he wants 6m even next season from us. It has turned into complete speculation and is now being reported as fact.
adniel_g
No. No. No. No. The twins are going nowhere. They'll likely retire as second line players. And they'll retire Canucks.
Ghostdivision
I do not mind clowe, but dont understand cdc obsession for clowe and dislike for roy. I would not complain if we got clowe, but he has been very slow, sharks fans say he is playing with an injury, and as we all know has not scored. Specter's Vengeance
Jesus people. Do you realize in a couple years the Canucks are going to like Calgary?! It happens to EVERY TEAM!!! We will have some losing years and we will eventually get back to the top of the West. I'd rather we trade prospects and go all in then sit, do nothing, be mediocre and blame everyone for everything. Sit down, shut up and enjoy it while we are still above the top 6 in the West...
marc2001
Seems like a good trade since we need a centre, although looking at his bio he's 5'9" 185lbs, quite small for a centre but hopefully he isnt like Raymond when hes carrying the puck into the zone (and for people saying he wants 6mill/yr somebody might want to tell him goals arent worth 750,000 each)

CHIPS
For those considering the likelihood of Roy re-signing with Vancouver in the off-season, his brother lives in Vancouver and has for quite sometime. I spent a little time with the two of them in Italy during the 2011 playoffs and they seemed pretty close. I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign a deal around the 4 million mark, its the term he's looking for (think 5+ years)
Tangelos
The sportsnet hockey central panel is a joke.
whytelight
I read on CBC that Roy was traded FROM Buffalo to the starts because of the addition of Cody Hodgson. So, is this essentially: To Van: Roy, Kassian To Buffalo/Stars: Hodgson, Sulzer, KC, and a 2nd?
Steve Kariya
No way GMMG makes this trade unless he thought he could sign the guy.
The_German
I think this is a good deal. Good work MG. Connauton was overrated and Roy will bring some depth and win some draws
Special Ed
Rather not have lost the 2nd but will judge this trade further down the road. Hopefully we can make another trade and grab a couple more picks.
MoneypuckOverlord
After the Boston series CDC says we're too small. Now that we add Kassian, Booth, Sestito we're too big and not enough skill. Now we add Roy and he's too small. GTFO. Roy is a PROVEN offensive threat, get over your Gillis hate folks.

The-Impersonator
they said it but i don't put much faith into anything coming out of maclean and kypreos who knows what will happen at the end of the year
ccc44
Going to say this. The Roy deal smells like one which the Canucks could utilize to put Kes at RW. Roy is small as crap but he is one hell of a set up man and for the sake of preserving longevity for Kes it makes sense to move him to RW as he would be less likely to be injured
