UFCanuck
The Red Wings didn't have a 1st round pick in 2011. If they did they might be using that player. They've only had 2 first round picks in the last 5 years, and only one of them is a realistic option but he's still playing in the Calder Cup playoffs (Sheahan). It's crazy to not be playing Schroeder over Lapierre and Jensen over Raymond after the way these guys have been playing.

a Fool
Kassian played like garbage. Couldn't read plays, was lazy on the puck, and didn't use his huge size very well.

Looked more lost than a working class person saying Harper is good for the economy. At least Raymond tried hard, even if his trying hard isn't great, hence the C... Sixteen W's
I had this burning hatred for Hansen when he missed the empty net, but it seems like everyone but Kesler can't bury a freaking chance.
Blackberries
I really thought that there were no really stupendous defensemen tonight.

zoner.
Ugh. Just ugh. Game one sucked, but at least we were outplayed. We SHOULD HAVE won tonight. And then Torres doing us in of all people. This hurts.

Vancouver's comeback
It's clear who had the heart and hustle to will this team to victory and it wasn't the apathetic Sedins. Our top line should be Burrows-Kesler-Kassian. F*** these preconceived notions of team hierarchy. I don't care who played well in the regular season, or who has the most accolades, who's supposed to be 'respected'. The players that are hungriest, the players that leave it all on the ice, the players who want the win the most- those are the players that deserve the most ice time in the playoffs. The Sedins should have been near the bottom when it came to ice time. What did they do? They barely sustained any offensive pressure. They couldn't forecheck, or pressure the puck at all for that matter. They were completely useless in our end. So why are they on our 'first line'. And why in the world were they playing with 1 minute left in the game? I blame AV entirely for that. Our roster should be a meritocracy. If you're playing hard, you get the time. DeNiro
AV never seems to put blame on "his guys". You can see it in every post game comment. He always blames circumstances and gives credit to the other team. And there is no sense of accountability because of it. At least Luongo takes some blame for the loss. Henrik won't even take blame for his poor pass that lead to a goal moments later.

Noheart
There are a lot of players due for a goal. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the Canucks explode offensively on Sunday.
NUCKS4CUP 28
tell me again when going post to post ...is failling on your face the most effective move? He is an athletic goalie who is the best one in the history of our franchise no doubt, but the way our defense plays now a positional goalie is far more effective than a reactionary athletic one who puts himself out of positon sometimes with these amazing saves but can't rely on the defense to come in and take care of the rest.
