Kelly Sutherland explanation for call on Daniel Sedin

Kelly Sutherland is also the referee that gave Dan sedin a 10 minute unsportsmanlike penalty in the stanley cup finals against boston after dan sedin was repeatedly punched in the face by brad marchand.

Dan Sedin asked him something similar to when are you going to call the penalty? after the fifth punch? (something like that)

He is also the one that gave av the unsportsmanlike call in that calgary game earlier this season.

Kelly Sutherland is biased against the Canucks. He should be thrown out of the league.

Remember the phantom boarding penalty on Burrows against Vernon Fiddler? Girl's Name Sutherland.

-Remember the famous game 6 against Chicago, after which the Canucks complained when Burrows got punched in the face by John Scott? That was Sutherland.

-He Refereed game 4 in 2011 between the Canucks and Sharks in which the Canucks got 5 straight penalties, followed by 3 straight 5-on-3 opportunities.

AV in Calgary getting a penalty for saying "that's an elbow?" Sutherland.

Consider the source. Wild fan here beyond upset with that call. You guys got hosed. Sorry how that series ended. Daniel Sedin is in my opinion one of the cleanest players in the league.

That's the thing that pisses me off with the two ref system!!! Why can't they huddle up and talk it over between themselves and reverse the call if it's warranted??? The NFL does it like that... I know some people are gonna respond by saying one ref doesn't want to show up the other ref but isn't the integrity of the game more important?? The ref where the play happens doesn't raise his arm but the guy 75 feet away makes the call??!!! PLEASE!!!!

The sad thing about it is that the playoffs will move on. The hockey pundits are talking about this now, but Sutherland knows, as it is in politics, that there will be a new reffing story/scandal soon. By the time the Final comes around this will be long forgotten by anyone but us rabid Canuck fans.
