Congrats to Zack Kassian for being named the Canucks 1st line right winger!

For those that missed the first poll, this poll is the second in a series of polls to determine who CDC thinks should play where within the Canucks lineup given our current roster. Please vote for a player you think best deserves the 2nd line LW spot.

The next poll will be for the 2nd line centre spot (can someone unseat Kesler?) so please psot suggestions on who should be included in that poll.

Lineup so far

why not Burrows, remember he was a left winger before he moved up to play with the Sedins?

I would say Burrows on right wing. He has experience playing his off wing

He's a natural right winger, he'll be in the 2nd line RW poll. Edit- added at your request.

Gotta be Booth. We have to give him a chance to get some goals and he won't do that too often if he's stuck on the 3rd line.

Should we do a poll for the 2nd line C spot or just give it to Kesler?

How about we wait and see who we have at camp (and out of that who impresses) before we start anointing Kesler's next winger. Could be Booth or Higgins from the main guys, but also could have someone impress from the prospect group.

Burrows is a natural LW so I voted him. Booth is more suited for a third line role compared to Jensen (we need youth in the line-up and there's no point of letting them dwindle on the bottom two lines).

I really would like to see Hansen Kessler Burrows.

They were really good together a couple of years ago and they are now even better players

Higgins. He has way better play making ability than Booth who is a crash and bang type of player (just like Kesler who will play C). Higgins fits the role. I vote Kesler for 2nd line Centre position.

Edit: I agree with Cocolocci above me ^ Higgins - Kesler - Burrows

Canucks have struggled with O the last couple seasons, why not give Shinkaruk at least a shot? :)

I guess they'd have to find out within several games if it'll work though.

Burrows of course.

I agee with the OP.
2nd line should be Burrows Kesler Hansen as they have played well together as a shutdown line and they are even better players now.

Does Booth play for us? I just thought he hunted and sat around in the stands injured.

I like that, and we would still have the start of a third line with Higgins - hopefully one of Schroeder, Gaunce, or Horvat can be third line centre. I wouldn't count on Booth doing anything useful - all he seems able to do is get hurt. Can we not buy him out after he returns from injury and get some cap space?

Booth, man is a wrecking ball out there!!! Watch he will contribute this year, give him Kes & Burr on the 2nd line and it will be a punishing line to play against!!!
