Devoted
Hey guys, Im wondering how you would rank these young NHL'ers/prospects on their offensive potential coupled with team future: Wennberg, Lazar, Tatar, Jaskin, Jurco. Currently my rankings would be: Wennberg Lazar Tatar Jurco Jaskin I'm in the market for a long term fantasy keeper option, an am searching for the player that can realistically put up the most points in the next 2-3 seasons, and hopefully the highest offensive ceiling for their career. I realize its difficult to compare the players due to differences in age, position, organization... but all of these players are either in the NHL or just on the cusp. How would you rank them? 73 Percent
What do any of these prospects have to do with one another? They are all on separate teams in different leagues. Different ages. Different nationalities. Why them?
2SKATES1STICK
potential or realistic projection? milano and jurco may have filthy hands, but realistically virtanen should translate better to a consistent threat

Devoted
What do any of these prospects have to do with one another? They are all on separate teams in different leagues. Different ages. Different nationalities. Why them? Selfishly, I'm in the market for a long-term fantasy keeper option. These are a handful of available prospects and i'm basically 'polling' this wealth of hockey knowledge-base to see who you all think would have the highest offensive potential. I realize its difficult to compare prospects; let alone players who range in age, position, organization... Which is why i've come looking for help! Didn't mean to come off rude. I'd go Jurco Tatar lazar Everyone else. Reason being you dont know if or when those other players will play in the nhl. I don't mind waiting 2-3 for these players to make an impact, but you're right, its a real boost to a player's value if they've already cleared the hurtle and made the NHL **OP edited**
Herberts Vasiljevs
In all honesty, I would keep your rankings as you are, though I am still having a tough time choosing who I'd rank #1 between Wennberg and Lazar. For me, the slight edge goes to Lazar.
Plum
I see it as: Lazar Wennberg Jurco Tatar Jaskin Jurco and Tatar are a close one but Jurco is 2 years younger, more size and higher potential while what you see with Tatar today is likely around the same thing you'll see in 2-3 years.
