Jazz I am not going to mock you but you must realise that you lose all credibility when you claim you asked a god to stop it snowing.

I think Jazz has undergone some sort of "spiritual awakening" recently (within the past few years) and eagerly wants to share it with the world, youthful enthusiasm can often get in the way of rational thought and common sense, once life has kicked him in the crotch a few times he'll join us on the dark and cynical side.

No one believes your BS taxi.

What is your explanation for israel using nuclear blackmail and project flower and the isreali's stealing US intelliegence and giving it to the russians ?

Ughh....please show basic forum etiquette and only post the links with a few relevant portions.

Once again, the Samson Option fiasco with Meir has been disproven. That's a fact. You can keep posting as many secondary sources based on rumours all you want. The people who were there have come out and said that Golda Meir or anyone else in the Israeli leadership never authorized the warheads. The defense minister brought it up as an option, that option was shut down.

Meir did warn Nixon, but there was never any mention of nukes:

Trust me. I've been kicked in the crotch by life a few times.

We call the heartland not very smartland, IQ's are very low but threat levels are high

They got a mandate, they don't want man-dates, they got so many hates and people to despise

In the dust bowl, cerebral black hole, the average weight is well over 200 pounds

I hate to generalize, but have you seen the thighs, most haven't seen their genitalia in a while

Maybe that's why they're so pissed at us

They're all jealous we're having better sex

Queers, transgends, and lesbians, vegans and vegetarians

All you brownish red and yellow ones come out and join us on the coast

No longer svelte, they gotta punch new holes in the Bible belt

They've blown out the fire under the melting pot, the red blood of America is starting to clot

No compromise, no sight thru others' eyes, they're just flies spreading pieces of crap

You gotta emigrate, stop living in hate, what makes this country great is dwelling on either side

They don't want visitors in Jesusland

They want life bland and canned in the fatherland

We want people with college degrees, drug use experience and STD's

People with open-minded philosophies, come hug California trees

Cultural revolution now, neo-conservatives run outta town

We're gonna burn Orange County down,

And then we're off to Riverside, Bakersfield and Fresno too, then we're comin' after you

The fear stricken, born again Christian, they got a vision a homogenized state

Texas textbooks, Bibles, and prayer books,

They want them memorized, but don't want you to think

They don't want visitors in Jesusland

They want life bland and canned in the fatherland

Punk Rockers and emo kids, people doin' things the church forbids

Buddhists, agnostics, and atheists we're moving out of jesusland

Art students and thespians, (excluding country) all the musicians

We want all hookers and comedians, nihilists are welcome too

No longer svelte, they gotta punch new holes in the Bible belt

Mikey B

Why do you keep quoting random terrible songs. Are we supposed to read into your terrible taste in music?

How about the other 2.18 billion Christians? Do you think all of us are stupid and spoon fed Christianity? It seems a lot of atheists lash out because of being forced into church at a young age.

Taxi, the fact that Buddy was already using this book as a reference should tell you all you need to know.

There was talk and nothing more...

I haven't claimed to support any US involvement in Arab Spring, so I am wondering how your comment applies here, especially if it was supposed to be a counter to my statement.

I don't know enough about the Arab Spring, but from the way your phrased your question, I would have thought you would agree with my original statement. Maybe I am mistaking the tone of your reply?

He said should not, not did not.

Yes I misread or misinterpreted Kragar's post, I think. I don't know why I posted that comment any more.

Not necessarily stupid, but spoon fed yes mostly, just like other religions.

I was heavily sold into church when I was young. It was nothing but kids get together to listen to fables. So I left. There was one preacher who kept trying to talk me back into it. To this day he remains on top of my list as somebody who I lost regards and trust for so quickly and so dramatically.

I was like 10 or something. I'm 38 and I still remember.

Honestly, most churches are run so badly it's sad. I don't blame you for walking out.

Trust me, you're only 17, you have yet to see what life can do to you.

BTW: Do you and Brick rehearse this Good cop - bad cop (or good Christian/bad Christian) routine ahead of time or is it just a natural chemistry? You to have it down pretty good.

Not all, just a select few. Most are just too afraid to think for themselves, or in your case, afraid to think at all. Christianity and Islam are two peas in a pod, a quest for power and control built on a foundation of fear, most organized religions are but these two are in a league of their own.

BTW: Why do you think the other 4.82 billion people are stupid because they aren't Christian? Maybe its time you stopped beating people over the head with a Bible and tried reading it, maybe get a grown up to help with some of the big words. You keep trying to paint me as hating Christians when what I really hate is pushy holier than thou types who think they are better than others, try to cram their beliefs down everyone's throat and act offended when it doesn't work.

It's just natural chemistry, I guess.

Those 4.82 billion people either haven't heard the good news yet, or have rejected it. That's all.

Why are you responding to a post that 1) wasn't addressed to you and 2) you clearly didn't read or understand, unless you saw yourself in the pushy, holier than though camp. Personally I have had enough of you and Brick derailing every thread you post in by thowing you Bible thumping into every post. Unless the topic is religion, keep your religion out of it.

I'm not going to take the holier than thou route, because all beliefs aside, you're probably a better person than I've been.

Also, I'm just clarifying something. Brick can still make an argument for what he wants. I'm also not Bible-thumping. I say one thing, and you guys start asking questions and challenging everything. But, to respect your request, I will try my best not bring Jesus into any conversation that doesn't warrant it - however, this still is my way of life.

And this is a forum. People respond to threads that weren't addressed to them all the time.

There is no way to do better...it's like a bad game of telephone tag:

1) The defence minister reminds the PM that they have nukes and suggest looking into arming them. to which Meir says absolutely not.

2) Becomes Golda Meir suggested the Samson option.

3) Becomes Golda Meir armed a dozen nukes...

4) Becomes Golda Meir armed a dozen nukes and threatened to exterminate the world unless the US gave them aid.

People always seem to reach out to a god when crap happens , not when their life is happy and content.

Speaks volumes on the motivation for their belief.

Care to explain why

If you are really interested in the Israels nuclear threats and blackmail read the book I have suggested.

Also Israel and the bomb by Avner Cohen and The Bomb in the basement by Micheal Karpin.

If you research this subject you will find sufficient evidence that not only has israel threatened the world with nuclear weapons it also had the motivation to use them.

You just have to look at the mentality of their decision makers and the overiding feeling of the israeli's/jews after WW2 , combine this with statements like , Israel must be like a maddog to dangerous to bother - moshe dyan and israeli military historian martin van crefeld who has a detailed knowledge of the israeli military and voices the feelings of many israeli's when he stated , "We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions , perhaps even at rome ,most european capitals are targets for our air force" and "our armed forces, however, are not the thirtieth strongest in the world , but rather the second or third , we have the capability to take the world down with us , and I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under" .

Foundation of fear? You literally have NO idea about what you are talking about. My creator would not have created you if he didn't love you.

I would be curious to here your thoughts on this science:
