Patrick Kane Posted November 25, 2015 Author Share Posted November 25, 2015 If you wish to send someone down to the minors, they must go through waivers, unless the player is: 23 years old or younger Players that fall into that age group, can be sent up and down freely, without the risk of losing them on waivers. Also, you CANNOT waive anyone with a contract: Over $1,500,000 (unless they are 23 years old or younger) Every team has 24 hours to claim a player that has been placed on waivers, and it will be based on priority (lowest overall team to highest).
