Schenn is coming off a career year in 2015-16, his fifth season with the Flyers, where he recorded new career-highs in nearly every offensive categories: goals (26), assists (33) and points (59) in 80 regular season games. He tied for the team lead in game-winning goals with five, while his 26 goals finished second and 59 points ranked third overall on the team. In addition, he led all Flyers in scoring since Jan. 1 with 44 points (19g-25a) in 44 games, which also tied for sixth among all NHL players. Over parts of seven seasons in the NHL, Schenn has recorded 191 points (84g-109a) in 354 games with the Kings and Flyers, and has appeared in 291 out of a possible 294 regular season games over the last four seasons with the Flyers. He has posted all 84 of his goals and 189 of his 191 points while playing with the Flyers over the last five seasons. Schenn was acquired by the Flyers from the Los Angeles Kings on June 23, 2011 along with Wayne Simmondsand the Kings’ 2nd round pick in 2012 for Mike Richards and the rights to Rob Bordson. He was originally drafted by the Kings in the first round (5th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. I will be in the player's corner if they owners opt for a lockout. 50/50 split of revenues is a fair deal. While the owners might be putting up their own capital, the players are putting their health and future lives on the line. Bettman and cronies better not get greedy. Laughton is still on his ELC. According to CapFriendly - the only RFA they need to sign is Brandon Manning on D and they have 2.2M available.
