I expect some trades (good players on deep teams that can't be protected) because of the draft lottery but I highly doubt there will be a LOT. It will make for an intersting trade deadline though.

Yup, that's pretty much exactly what I'm expecting. Will be some really wacky stuff.

Way to catch my drift.  Dude actually wrote "you no skate", and you come along and compare us?  No man.  You no skate.

Even with his improved play, moving him at the deadline is very long shot.

I agree. Sbisa is not going to garner much in trade. He is on an upward tragectory and has more value to the Nucks than anyone else.

If a trade is made it will be around Edler or Tanev. My money is on Edler.

Sounds like tanev got back just in time...

He'll get injured again at some point.

I'm not so sure. If there's 1 NHL defenceman other than Mike Green who can be counted on to end up injured and on IR, it's Alex Edler. His days of being a desirable acquisition are behind him, I think. Maybe that's what's behind all the Tanev trade talk this season.

That's my worry too.  He really just doesn't avoid hits and it is easy to imagine that the situation will snowball in the latter half of his career.

Still no timeline on how long Gudbranson is out but he does have a follow up with the doctors in a few weeks. #Canucks

I'm guessing he gets a 5.3 million dollar cap hit on his extension. edler is moved for the love of God lol.

seems the youth is inspiring the sedins but edler lacks passion.  I didn't realize how old hank looks until I saw all the young faces last night.

I hope he stays out to make sure it's 100% for next season.

Wonder if he broke his scaphoid?  I did this, takes about 2 years to feel right.
