If Smith plays between 8 and 11 games in the playoffs, has at least 4 playoff wins and Carolina makes the 2nd round, NYI receive Cal Petersen. If Smith plays between 12 and 15 games in the playoffs, has at least 6 playoff wins and Carolina makes the 3rd round, NYI receive Marcus Hogberg.
