  1. If you're joking, let me know. Thanks SaltSpring rules
  2. Oh man, I've never driven off the island... what do you do at a flashing red light? proceed with caution?
  3. I was all on board about calling him TREE, naturally.. was a bit surprised to hear he found it insulting, but you have to admit a tree is akin to a pylon. Anyone know if he's in Vancouver yet? Thread got bumped and I was drawn like a fruit fly to the nectarines that we don't eat fast enough, now I'd like an update.. where is our Russian friend?
  4. Thats why I'm in this thread!! Laughing!!!
  5. Totally looks like a Hall for Subban fell through... Anyway, I'm editing because I'm in the wrong thread. EDIT : I'm happy with this 'safe pick' in Juolevi,
  6. Dude you basically opened up a new world for me. That guy talks like he's RR Martins true born son!!
  7. Hmmm, maybe Jim has too much on his plate?
  8. So are we talking OEL? Salo? thats all I have atm for finnish lineage.
  9. Does this affect his ELC?
  10. This exactly man...But here we are....I'm happy with this pick. Ideally, I would like Serg and a 2nd but this is just as good really, probably better.
  11. en's our next pick? like 45?

I do know that Shaky, thx.

    4. Odd.
  12. Look at what other teams feel about those rankings, I have the same list in front of me and my eyebrows are constantly moving.
  13. Yea, for sure. Juolevis stats say he's offensively impressive. Now to look up OEL. EDIT: Cool, I'm a bit happier.
  14. Cool, offensive D a notch or 2 above Edler. Less physicality but more cucumber to him. On the squad for 16-17.... 20% chance but he doesn't seem far off, he's got the reach and the mind. Hopefully he realizes how lucky he is to come to British Columbia.
  15. Yea^ People ripping Dorsett spend to much time in an easy chair I'm thinking. He's a warrior in the trenches and has the heart of a lion. I don't mind his contract.
  16. I'm a Cowichan guy too!

      Hi,

4 lake cowichan people, that's like half the population!

  17. Not great. Kinda like a grade 11 english person who took french if that makes sense? I got him to sign a jersey.. he didnt say "can you hold this please?" he said "you, hold?" I spent around a minute with him and the rest of the interaction was similar. What I took away was a firm handshake, an imposing figure and a kindness to him. But mostly it was a presence and a curiosity.
  18. Nikita doesn't mess around. His eyes were opened during his brief time here and I'm positive that he wants to be loved and feared in the NHL. I've met the guy and looked into his eyes, we have a beast with a lot of drive. Couple that with how close Vancouver is to his hometown (relatively of course) and we have a nice groundwork for a hard working Russian who wants to make his mark. I'd bet on him being a success, possible top pairing.
  19. Seemed really forced. Not a huge fan of that episode. Benjen reappearing was poorly done. Loved the Sam Tarley bit though. That was my favorite part. The intrigue of Mace and Jaime marching upon the sept was quashed by a questionable delivery. was pretty intense though.
  20. But the 'how' of it is the real interesting part. I try to avoid the rumors at all costs. Looking forward to a hell of a reveal tonight.
  21. WOW, this thread went from 1/3 posters being paranoid A-F about Brock not signing with us, to commending him for recruiting NCAA players. Happy, but utterly in awe!
  22. Some nice positive news to start off the long off-season! Sorely needed of late.
