Staying in the UND program is the best thing for his career. He's also showing loyalty to the school that has treated him so well and gave him the opportunity (which he ran with) to win the NCAA title. It's close to a no brainer. I'm happy with all of the qualities he's showing off the ice. He's destined for greatness it seems to me.

I met Nikita yesterday, he signed my new Tryamkin jersey. I hollered at him as he rolled in and showed him the jersey. He walked all the way back up to me and asked me my name. He then wrote "For Dustin" and chatted with me and my Gf and posed for pics for me and the Canucks staff. Really nice guy, good English as far as I could tell. I have a really good feeling about him. Im from a small town on VI, so it was awesome getting so many honks and people shouting at me. Really made my Birthday weekend, I'm 32 but I felt like a kid. Love the Canucks and the city of Vancouver.

Great question. I love the player. IMO It should be Florida though, that's where his heart is. He and Bure are the best players the Panthers have ever seen.

Seems like Gauncer was only moved to wing because of our C depth which has obviously evaporated.

Lol hindsight, but Thor throws 97 consistently and Dickey putts them in at 85mph on a good day. Not ragging on AA, but that is a trade that will haunt us more than any IMO. I didn't like it from the jump. The AL is not place for knucklers. In theory, in the playoffs, IF we ever make it again It's said to throw off the oppositions rhythm. We didn't see a lot of that this October. I could see a knuckler coming out of the pen ****ing batters up. Just a thought.

Lol Cory had very little wear and tear prior to being shipped to NJ. They may well ride him hard, but he should be able to carry that load no problem for the next 3 yrs at least. At that point, he still won't be close to being old.

Should've dropped Dickey and went all in for Price. I could care less about his post season stats. Man, we gave up Syndergaard AND d'Arnaud for him. OUCH. That's a brutal price to pay. AA did mess up bringing a knuckler to the AL. I haven't liked a player in the NL as much as Thor since Moises Alou.

Id trade Hendricks just because his last name is spelled wrong. Seriously though I have to personally say that losing AA really sucks to me. The new guy looks like a PEN15 and we're gonna lose Price. Theres a bad thought in my head that he is willing to let him walk, possibly to make Alex look bad. I'm not too pleased about picking up Dickeys option either. Hopefully Hutch can be a #3 for us next year.
