    Holmgren should be leaking out rumors that he put in a huge offer like Giroux and Shenn for Kes. Try to get Pitt to unload its top prospects or maybe Shero panics into trading Malkin and Neal lol

    If the report on NHL.com is true, MG better not trade with Pitt Sutter, a 1st, a 3rd and one of Despres and Dumoulin If Bennett and Pouliot are not in the deal than we have to keep Kes

    If Pitt were serious about trading for Kes they would've pulled the trigger already Why let other teams beat them to the punch. MG should make it official and announce he wont be traded before the playoffs. If there is one thing this team does not need its another Luongo scenario

    Kesler to Pitt makes a lot of sense to me. The Canucks want high end prospects and Pitt needs a forward Pitt has high end prospects and Van has a top center who wants to go back to the US

    Kesler should not be traded unless the return is too much for MG to pass up. He can play in all situations PK, PP, 3rd line shut down role whatever you want from him he can give deliver it. The guy plays 22mins a game, he's worth a 1st rd pick and a top young player already in the NHL. Det or Pitt makes the most sense but if they don't buck up MG needs to hang onto him

    Did someone on here suggest Tanev, Edler, Horvat, Jensen, and a 1st is what it takes to get Subban? Time to close up shop on this thread. It has turned into complete and utter lunacy.

    MG isn't trading Kes anywhere. If we do have a big trade in the works it would be for one of our D. The NTC blocks MG from moving Kes unless he has actually requested a trade.

    Toews and Sid have to come to the forefront against the US. That and If Babcock can find the right line combo's and then roll the three best lines, it should be enough to win.

    Kesler isn't going anywhere. He's too valuable to the Canucks org. Both Eds and Kes have NTC and MG has already said he wont ask any player to waive their NTC rights. It cant be spelled out any clearer than that. For now this team is what it is. I think they can get into the payoffs easy enough, and we all know that if a team can get hot at the right time, it can mean a long playoff run. Just have get in first

    There's no way the Avs trade O'reilly for Edler. He's a 23 yr old kid who is just starting scratch the surface of what he can become. I doubt Eds would wave his NTC anyway. The time has come to make a significant trade but ROR wont be in VCR anytime soon.

    Why would the Jets be looking to move Ladd if he's all that? Also his teams haven't made the playoffs since he was traded out of Chicago Van should not move Horvat for Ladd

    With the team Canada's strength down the middle we should win going away. Crosby and Toews alone is enough to win it all. Throw Getz and Tavares into the mix and its lights out. Just give us the Gold now because its really just a formality

    I definitely am impressed with Horvat up till now but we need to realize those highlight goals are against Junior players who will most likely never get a sniff of an NHL contract Wet blanket they called me!
