If Horvat makes the team next year he will start on the 4th line. That doesn't mean he will be playing there all year. Once he gets accustomed to the pace of the NHL you can move him up to the 3rd line. As long as he is averaging 12 - 15 minutes a game then he will be better served in the NHL than in Junior. I don't think it will be that hard for Bo to get PK ice time. From the players you listed 3 are centers, Richardson, Matthias, and Vey, We all know Matthias is better served on the wing and Vey is supposedly bad at face-offs, and before anyone brings him up Bonino has a 48.8% career average in face-offs. That leaves Richardson to center our 1st PK unit So if Bo can bring his face-off prowess into the NHL he should have no problem getting a spot centering the 2nd PK unit.

Yes, he was on the second line. Hitmen's first line was Brassart - Chase - Tambellini (I think). I'm guessing Virtanen was on the 2nd line just to spread the scoring around. "Don't put all your eggs in the same basket" He was on the 2nd pp unit, had a little time on the 1st as well. Hitmen's leading scorers were Brady Brassart(Minnesota) and Greg Chase(Edmonton) with 85 points each. The Hitmen are losing most of there top players, so next season Virtanen will be playing on the top line with Greg Chase. Hitmen will basically suck next year so Virtanen is going to be leaned on heavily to score lots of goals. I would expect him to score more than the 45 he had last season.

You would think you would be able to just send a CHL team a sum of money to release the player. I don't think another year of Junior is going to hurt Horvat. Mark Scheifele was at a point were he was too good for Junior but not good enough for the NHL, and in the long run that extra year of Junior seemed to help him a lot.

Dal Colle was the obvious choice for the Islanders and Benning knew they would take him, so there's not much to make of that.

He played with $#!^ linemates most of the season, never played much with the Hitmen's top scorers, and usually only got 2nd PP time. I'm excited to see what he can do next season playing with a guy like Greg Chase. I think 55-60 goals is a possibility and maybe 35-40 assists. The Hitmen are losing all there top offensive players so he will be relied upon heavily to produce.
