According to Fifa, there are 7 actions in football that can land you a caution, standing in front of a free kick violates 2 of them. Here's a little snippit to re-jog your memory Idiotic: 4. delays the restart of play 5. fails to respect the required distance when play is restarted with a corner kick, free kick or throw-in. Also Idiotic, we we're awarded a free-kick, not a penalty, so your team had ample opportunity to defend the free kick, which they failed to do. United deserved a point and they rightly got it. There's so many other higher profile clubs looking to make a play on him, the only place I couldn't see him signing would be Bayern. Reus is going to either Real or Liverpool; and regardless of that, the last thing this team needs it to blow a majority of it's transfer budget on another offensively-styled midfielder. IMHO, we need to sell Rafael, and bring in someone who can be a rock on the back line. We could find a Spanish side to pay a pretty penny for the speedy RB, and we could use that to go after someone like Hummels or Matip from Schalke. I was really hoping we went after Mangala when he was linked to us from Porto, but alas we loaded up on more offensive players when we so clearly needed defensive help.
