No, they're not. But they're using Nylander's AHL numbers (historically a measure of &^@#ing nothing) and declaring him a sure fire first line center who will absolutely succeed and crush adversity. Jake's struggles annoy me far less then the wank job CDC gives to everyone we don't draft.

Sure, give him back to the Hitmen and start him in Utica next year. Don't write him off nineteen year old because he isn't immediate lightning in a bottle.

I find it funny how people think that our only path to success is to draft a 100+ first line center to lead a supercharged, highlight reel offence while ignoring the fact that the teams that are winning the cup don't play that kind of game.
