Coyotes are a disgrace to the league. Playing keep away in 3 on 3 OT

Senators really helping us by keeping the Sharks down.

Gudbranson is a good guy. He modeled his game after some tough checking defensive defenseman from the dead-puck era. However, as he makes it to the NHL, the league is gradually moving away from the tight checking game to the free flow, speed and skill game today. Early on in his career, he still look like he has a place in the league, but as the game progresses, he just doesn't fit the modern day game anymore.

There are a lot of nay-sayers about Sutter. But Sutter when healthy and in the line up, is one of the better and more effective third line center in the league. Plus, Gaudette in the pipeline, a bit more seasoning on Gaudette, he can takeover as 3rd line center when Sutter moves on after his contract expieres.

One of the most pathetic losses in recent memory Jesus
The collapse against the Islanders that in 2014 was worse IMO

Oh well always next year for the nucks... to beat them at home... I do fear we are to inexperienced and may miss the playoffs this year
2017 Leafs blown so many leads like this and still made the playoffs. I have confidence that this team will learn from it

The sky hasn’t fallen. Hope they take this game to heart and learn this as a valueable lesson

Can we have a moment to appreciate Jaime Benn. Solid, honest, hard work. Gets the puck out of trouble. Such a steadying influence.

I had to take to dog out....came back and saw the score.
Feels like its my fault, but Tess had to pee.
I'm watching again now.
I never walk away from the game when we are leading for anything like a walk, a shower or cook a a quick meal etc.

This is just a combination of bad lucks. In the 2nd and 3rd Washington goal. It is a lesson for the team. See how they handle a situation like this one. Every game is a learning experience for this young group.

They are horrible. I wonder if Stevie Y is a tank commander?

Only have like 3-4 decent guys. I would look into Athanasiou. 30 goal scorer last year, and fast af, but playing poorly this year. Wings are really bad this year, wonder if his value drops if he continues to play poorly. Wouldn’t mind trading for him.
Stevie Y does have the guts to be a tank commander. Just look at where the Lightnings 2012 and 2013 finished in.

Detroit
It prob still be Ottawa. Detroit still have more talents overall. They are just in a slump right now where nothing goes right for them.

Could Utica win the Calder Cup this year?

Can’t stand Blackwood. Brick wall against the Canucks and sieve against any other team. Definition of a &^@#er in my books.

After 9 games:
2016 (7 home games): 4-4-1 (-7 goal differential)
2017 (4 home games): 5-3-1 (0 goal differential)
2018 (3 home games): 5-4-0 (-2 goal differential)
2019 (3 home games): 6-3-0 (+11 goal differential)
Feels a bit different this year... like, not a fluke?
Completely agree. Also in the last 2 years, even though the Canucks were winning games early on, I always look at the roster and it does not convince me that the team has enough depth and skill to sustain it for a full season. This year, it feels different. This team's got better depth and better defense. It is also a team with more speed, skill and size.

21. Apparently he came up to her, patted her on the head and pointed at the floor. Then kept calling her short over and over again. Not the most nefarious thing but it is extremely juvenile. When I say ‘character issues’ I don’t mean that he’s a scumbag, just that he’s incredibly immature, and I was adding that to the list of reasons why I wouldn’t trade for him in a throw away sense. The main reasons are what you outlined above.
Take this with a grain of salt. Someone I used to work with told me she has a close friend who married one of Jamie’s cousins. And she told me Jamie almost never show up to big family gatherings because he had this attitude of “he is too important” to be at these kind of meetings. I take that with a grain of salt as I don’t know that person myself and I heard it from a secondary source. Base on all these other things I also heard about him, it does not bode well when it comes to character.

And he’s playing really good off the puck as a number one centre. He’s one heck of a player.
He is a #1 line center who can produce a lot of points and also very responsible defensively. Toughest piece of the puzzle of a cup winning team to find is a that dominant scoring center who is responsible defensively as well. Give him another year or two, he will become a top 5 player in the league.

What I am impress with EP is that even if he is "struggling" and having a bit of a "slump," he is still an a point a game player as of now.
